My 1st ever paid job was a real test prior to my adult life a couple of summertime seasons in a row. I had a chance to learn a few tricks about assembling and manufacturing furniture in one of the biggest wooden furniture exporters of the time in the Baltics.

My 1st full-time job. As I had been learning American English from my early childhood days and loved the language deeply, I got accepted to the position of translator right the next day after I filled out the vacancy form. The job was boring as hell. Thankfully, I had studies to attend which made my days much more meaningful.

The musical "Mamma Mia!" (OST: ABBA)
sole translator (English-Latvian)
I got an opportunity to be a sole translator (English to Latvian) for the major musical of the time which took place in Riga, Latvia, and was a total success. Mamma Mia! was a great chance for me to put my English translation skills to good use. It took me approximately 5 days to finish the translation for the 2-hour show. I remember it being a joy for me to work with the team of organizers of the event with such a backstory and positive popularity when my translation was being shown to the audience on a couple of huge screens right beside the stage.

Having had studied audio recording in the UK, I did commercial recordings, ad pre/post-production for the leading concert agency in the Baltics - FBI, singers' production, collaborations, live events. It was a dream come true as I love the world of sound. Check out my SoundCloud page for some of my publically available recordings. I was lucky to be a part of the pioneers group of email marketing niche in the Baltic States back then. I had a great experience being a salesperson and growing in sales in general. This experience led me to the next completely new phase of my career.

This was the perfect time to implement all the knowledge and experience into a company that was like my own child in a way. With a help of my partner, I was building a brand from the ground up. The results were showing we were on the right track until I felt I had to walk my own solo path because of some core differences in philosophy of both of us.

I was honored to work closely full-time with one of the most knowledgeable and impactful companies of the aesthetic medicine niche in the Baltic states. I always love working with industry leaders as they allow for clear sight of endless possibilities. We started from the rebranding, went through business process systematization, all the way to marketing (video production, social media marketing management, production of offline materials) and service quality improvements.

For the first time in my career, I felt I'm at an international enterprise that values high corporate standards as much as I do. In the creation of a totally new approach to the company's core processes like branding, marketing, and sales, I implemented some of my newest strategies at the time. I successfully created and implemented several growth-hacking systems for the Baltic region within the first half of the year. Then a global pandemic struck the industry. However, even then I did not allow the company to go on hold. I convinced the CEO to go use this chance and capitalize on implementing a variety of webinars that will not only make our brand be constantly present in front of the target audience, but also will let it set a new bar in communicating with each of the customers and leads alike.

I had a great time performing as a business consultant from the project idea and preparation stage all the way to the project launch stage. This experience exposed how difficult and challenging it can be to simultaneously help the future founders/managing directors in becoming conscious business leaders while laying the foundation of a company which in addition is a total newcomer to the local market. I'm thankful for the universe of things that this experience came along with a certain new turn in my life, as I moved to a foreign country Estonia and am continuing to joyfully live there ever since.

One of the first projects working with local companies after moving to Estonia. With my freelancers' team from Latvia, we set a time record and went from project planning and scratch to a physical exhibition booth in Dubai, UAE, including all the marketing handout materials, all done within 14 days. The second phase of my work included the creation and management of a new sales system. The project mainly included my expertise in establishing fundamental systems such as OKR, CRM, KPI.

Electrical Components Distributor "Carmen electro"

I enjoy working with Estonian tech projects. In this case, first, knowing the target audience being men, I helped in rebranding for the differentiation to take place effectively going into French market from zero positions. How did I do it? By putting a world-famous model from 90's Carmen Electra into spotlight remixing her name into Carmen Electro. I redisigned the old-school approach to brand positioning in this boring niche, and off we went with some neat erotic touch on the website and in marketing. Even in sales French prospects were instantly remembering us during the second interactions on the phone. Right from the get-go, we received a super-fast brand recognition because of Carmen's charms and an out-of-the-box thinking and business acumen of mine.

Men's online course Super Lover

One of the most exciting international projects I have been invited to be part of was creation of an online educational product group "Super Lover". It is a men's 30-day online course that elevates and deepens perception of quality relationships for good. It is based on knowledge and experience of a Tantric teacher from Estonia Igor Earthchild. I am proud of this product being executed by the team of just the two of us in such short terms. Within 2 months period we created business structure, branding and marketing materials, a website, SMM strategy, all from scratch.

Likvy is a market leader in selling designer-grade interior goods in the Baltic states with its head office in Riga, Latvia. The challenge, in this case working 90% remotely, was not only in starting a brand new pathway in the company's history creating a system for B2B customers from the ground up but also in trying out a blue ocean approach by participating in exhibitions for untapped customer segments like an aesthetic niche. During the period of MVP, I managed to successfully plan and execute a B2B branding, marketing, and sales strategy. This experience is a great reminder for me that without kindness, openness to new perspectives, and a critical approach to the knowledge of human resources in a company within a team there cannot be synergy and efficiency, especially in case stakeholders are planning to run their business in the market for more than just a couple of years.
